1st Battalion SSB Sonapur initiated and facilitated the program on the collection of Mitti/rice for Amrit Kalash Yatra under the ageis of Meri Maati Mera Desh.
Today, the program was facilitated and participated at twenty seven villages under five Gaon Panchayats at three different Blocks of Kamrup(M).
The program was cooperatively attended by Gaon Panchayat members, members of Self Helf Groups, volunteers and local public. Minu Mithiya, Mitali Kalita, Sneswar Kalita, Babita Baishya, Presidents of Digaru GP, Chandrapur GP, Panikhaiti GP and Mazirgaon GP respectively with SSB personnel and other members participated in the event and made the program a grand success.
Yesterday, the program was facilitated and participated at seven Gaon Panchayats under 02 Blocks of Kamrup(M) at Molaibari GP, Hahara GP, Tetelia GP, Nortap GP, Kamarkuchi GP, Azara GP and Garal GP.
